04  How long to stay

Most people spend a day in the Cotswolds to get a taste for it. If you can afford the time a weekend or 2-3 day trip is a must. Cotswolds is a very big area with 100's of villages.

05 What it Costs

06 Best Villages

Be careful with hire car companies hidden fees and large deposits, whilst advertising attractive prices to get you in. Tour operators can take away that risk.

For Americans be careful with narrow lanes (many), driving on the left and roundabouts! You also cant rely on public transport in the Cotswolds. Taxis are also hard to come by at times.
